16MM


the room  lately looks more like a film lab than a psychiatrist's office
as we get closer to the intent and not just the technology of "the New Way"more and more  equipment  is brought in
Now the  TV shows we study are   turned into tradition 16 MM before each session to make it easier to break down individual segments of footage
 and a power point laser now serves
 as a marker for a camera that takes individual stills of scenes which are paused or advanced sometimes to split second frame by frame dissolves and fades
as some of these fades are timed with synchronized  Disassociative Causality

but today we watch "Homeland"which is so overt in it's referentials that there is no need for
clip by clip analysis
my "job" is to help my shrink and "some  interested friends " learn to WATCH
in "that certain way"

"that certain way" that certain children were raised to SEE television
 Neuro Linguistic Cues
that were introduced  in the 1970's(foreseeing and thus imprinting  the future use of such "language") decades ahead of time for  "reinforcement"and retrieval schematics

today we watch a rather long scene
 where a character called  Brody is staring into space for no apparent reason for about 4 minutes
this scene
which is filmed by his daughter  is never quite explained
because what the scene is about is Brain Computer Interface
and has  nothing whatsoever to do with the storyline

it's overtness is  indicative of the growing  arrogance of "knowing" and molding without any outside intervention
the scene plays like an inside joke
something rare given the seriousness of "the cause"
"how Illuuuuuuu-minating my Dr.says.." watching Damian Lewis saunter out of  frame.
"Careful He Might Hear You," I say turning my finger round and round ,pointing my "cwazy finger" gesture  at my temple.

"Very Good ," I say.
"Don't tell me that's one of theirs too"
"No I think that one's fine Doc."
