1950';s Cinemascope was used to produce a 3-D effect,the camera sped up and than slowed down to a 3.2 millisecond Key Note than hand drawn refilmed using a yellow key light to heighten and dull the edges at the same time..
and this all takes place before the credits even end..
Two sound engineers are confounded and amply impressed not only by the stylized dialog and pacing of the opening dialog but how the sound was also rerecorded to impart a mono ambient tracking system somehow synchronicitous with "a ripple effect" instigated by another tracking system entirely.We are only 5 minutes into the mini series but breaking down the first 30 seconds of footage takes 4 hours
