Valerie Prentis head of Parasol Productions, has given a team of researchers at Dome  a $5 million grant to study BCI
Brain-computer interface would use a noninvasive brain imaging technology like electroencephalography to let people communicate thoughts to each other. For example, a person would "think" a message to be transmitted and a computer-based speech recognition system would decode the EEG signals. The decoded thoughts, in essence translated brain waves, are transmitted using a system that points in the direction of the intended target.
All across Southern California, there’s interest in translating thoughts into computer code, and vice versa..

Parasol Productions is backing an ambitious plan to produce the world’s wireless mind reading device(no chips,no helmets) making use of the latest advances in computer and neuroscience to create a program that can actually pick out sounds imagined by the human brain and translate them into audible speech. Parasol is hoping to tap into this burgeoning field of knowledge to produce the next generation of being truly "with the stars
Called “synthetic telepathy” by researchers , this type of communication would allow "viewers" not only to communicate with celebrities but also "glean" a little star shine when the program is through
