to the passersby the group of men and women gathered must have looked more like a band of gypsies than a cross section of some of the finest minds and criminals in eastearn europe.At first the group was much larger but that could be blamed on the natural tendency to hold tight to anyone familiar after the liberation of the camps.but as the months went by and some modicum of health and "normalcy" returned most members of the initial group chose to try to pick up with their former lives and professions.what remained now gathered and scattered in the picnic area were those that could not or would not return to anything or anyone.
