Evan not only wanted "in synch" with Intra Neural "mind expansion" but had reason to believe that synthetic telepathy techniques could also induce genuine telepathy as well as PSI abilities(as the sheer unnatural(ungodly?)practice of such caused such trauma to one's brain and psyche that to survive it was a physiological as well as psychological necessity to "reach" into that " ubiquitous other 90%of our brains we don't use AND PERHAPS BEYOND IT.
ESPECIALLY when the practice of "Doming" a "host" was done WITHOUT prior consent or knowledge
and as any perpetrator in the "Dome Family" knew (and enjoyed) the initiation of ""pet sound"active "enhancement"produced a terror so severe that "it is rumoured" that the sheer horror of "the event"when it did not cause death could and and often did create TRUE paranormal side effects
